So for this assignment we need to be able to use our camera to film our videos, so we needed a workshop to help us to understand how to do this which is good since half of us did not know how to use our camera as a video or how to edit those videos.
We first looked at some opening sequence as an example
This opening sequence is from Dexter a TV show that is about a man who has two life's one of respected crime scene investigator and the other is a serial killer who kills other killers.
The video shows Dexter and his morning routine. the video is very bright with the lighting being quite intense which is a complete contrast to what Dexter is, its quite dark in parts. The opening sequence uses props and actions to suggest the dark side to Dexter. The video also changes it speed, it can be quite quick at time then slow down at others. it a good opening to the show and doesn't give anything away.
